We have a league game against Waunarlwydd Away Mon 28th December . Meet at Waunarlwydd 1pm for 2.30 kick off . Just heard that the game is definately ON .

Youth V Outcasts Boxing Day

We have our annual game against Mumbles Outcasts on Boxing Day at Underhill Park . Be there for 10.00am for 11.00 am kick off . Please can all players bring their own shorts and socks . All boys will have game time . After the game we will be putting food on down the Club and hope all Mums and Dads can come down as we will be giving an update on our Easter Tour ( which has been booked ) The Ospreys will be playing Scarlets at 2pm and will be on in the Club .

We have a game this saturday home v Briton Ferry . We will be playing at the University playing fields and kick off is 2.30pm . Can all players be there for 1pm.

Boxing Day 26/12/09

We will playing a game on Boxing day against a Senior 15 down the Park ( K.o. time to be confirmed ) then we would like to invite ALL the players and Parents to come back to the Club for Food and an Update on this year"s tour . If that is not enough then there is also another game taking place ( on the tele at 2pm ) Scarlets v Ospreys .

Sat December 19th

We are still waiting to hear back from Waunarlwydd and Tondu about playing us on Sat 19th Dec. If neither of these can play we will tryto organise a friendly with someone else.

Training will be at The Astroturf from 17/12/09

Our next League game is home to Tondu on Saturday 5th December at Swansea University playing fields kick off 2.30pm Please meet at 1pm .
Please try and get to training on Thursday 3rd down the Park for a 7 pm start .

New training times

As from Thursday 26th November , we will be training from 7 pm until 8pm .
This is because other junior teams are using the park up until 7pm .

No Game 21/11/09

The away game against Bonymaen on Saturday 21st November has been called off as both teams have players going up to Cardiff to watch Wales V Argentina .

Sorry to leave it so late but we have been informed by The WRU that we are unable to play tonight as today was marked as a colleges game week .

Mumbles Youth v Gowerton Youth Wednesday 11th November

PLEASE NOTE that the Gowerton game has been brought forward to Wednesday Nov 11th meet at Gowerton RFC at 6pm for a 7pm kick-off. We will be playing under floodlights . We have organised this game so as everyone can get some game time .

Youth Halloween Party

A big thanks to everyone who turned up on Saturday night down the Club for our Halloween Party . It was a brilliant turn out over 200 , Also a big thanks to Jack Yeates for supplying the disco . We hope to have another Youth night before Xmas .

Mumbles Youth 5 Bonymaen Youth 31

Another hard game against a much heavier Bonymaen team , We gave 2 tries away in the first quarter and found it hard to secure possession . We put some nice phases of play together but could not finish them off , We turned around 28-0 down . Second half we seemed to believe in ourselves and pushed their huge pack a few times . We used the Park to our strength and stretched their pack and got a lot more ball and Jack Soul led by example to power over for a well deserved try . All Bonymaen got out of the second half was a penalty and that was down to all the hard work put in by ALL the players who played today .

Mumbles Youth game on

Just been down the Park and the pitch is O.K , So game is on , kick off 2.30pm , all players to be at the Park for 1.15pm .

Great idea Les, if we can get all the guys to sign up, it would make life a lot easier.

Mumbles Youth V Bonymaen Youth 31/10/09

We are playing Bonymaen Youth in The Welsh Cup at Underhill Park on Saturday October 31st kick off 2.30. Please meet at the Park at 1.15pm . This is our first game at the Park this season so get as many supporters as possible down there to support the boys .
Don"t forget the Halloween Disco down the club tomorrow night starting at 8 .00pm . All proceeds going to our tour .

Welcome to the new Mumbles Youth web site 2009/10. Please be patient as we will be working on this site and hope to keep everyone up to date with all events. Please see below for our first fund raiser in the Rugby Club . I will update forthcoming fixtures and results as soon as I can .

Halloween Fancy Dress Party at the Rugby Club Sat October 31st at 8.00pm

We are holding a Halloween Fancy Dress party at the Rugby Club on Saturday October 31st at 8.00pm. All Youth players are expected to support this night which is a fund raiser for our Tour . Tickets are £2.00

Training

We normally train on a Thursday evening, starting at Underhill Park. Players are requested to arrive for training from 18.15 ready to start promptly at 18.30. Training usually lasts between 1 and 2 hours

Age requirements for Youth

Players must be under the age of 19 on the 1st September at the start of the season and must be aged at least 16

Matches

We play in the top division of the WRU Ospreys region. We also compete in both the WRU and Swansea District knock out competitions. We arrange a number of friendly matches, including under 17 age group games and also enter 7’s tournaments.
